Important: These day trips can start from the airport upon your arrival, hotel in Cusco or from the Sacred Valley of the Incas. The choice is yours. The Sacred Valley of the Incas was a divine place for the Incas, a gift that the Sun God gave them for their subsistence, for its geography and its wonderful climate. Our journey begins with beautiful landscapes of the surrounding Andes Mountains and valley. Stop at the Awanacancha llama farm to pet the calm llamas and alpacas. Then off to the Pisac archeological site and the colorful market, Ollantaytambo Inca town with its fabulous ruins on the side of town and finally the small town of Chinchero for a colorful traditional weaving demonstration.
In the morning we leave Cusco to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, a scenic drive admiring the surrounding Andes mountains and valley. We will stop at the Awanacancha Center to see the camelids, alpaca and llamas. Continue to the Inca ruins of Pisac for a a delightful hike. Walk around the ruins to the Sun Temple to observe the water channels and surrounding agricultural terraces. After our visit we will drive down to the town of Pisac for walk around the handicraft market where you may pick up some souvenirs. Drive along the Vilcanota River to the town of Urubamba for lunch. Tour the Inca town of Ollantaytambo and a tour of the archeological site which faces town. Our last visit takes us to the town of Chinchero for a colorful traditional weaving demonstration, visit the colonial church and the ruins. Return to your hotel in Cusco or Sacred Valley.

Note: If you start the tour in Cusco and will stay in the Sacred Valley you will not be able to visit Chinchero. However, if you want to visit Chinchero it will be for an additional cost. Consult us.
